Light+Shadow Fine Art is the art gallery of record representing the fine art of international award winning American master artist Thierry Thompson. Thierry has been painting professionally for over fifty years. Thierry has a tremendous sense of understanding design and aesthetics, which is masterfully reflected in his creations. The artists creations hang in some of the most important fine art collections in the world, ranging from the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche corporate collections, the Pentagon in Washington DC, to international corporate collections large and small.

Light+Shadow Fine Art is located in the "Sixth Avenue Art District" of Carmel by the Sea. Just a few steps away from the azure blue Pacific Ocean, Carmel’s famed romantic white sand beaches and the majesty of California’s Pacific coast. As Thierry states "The Monterey Peninsula, Big Sur, Point Lobos and Carmel by the Sea are the greatest meeting of land and water on the face of the earth. The Peninsula and the surrounding region are breathtaking and equally inspiring for an artist".

Light+Shadow Fine Art is one of only a handful of artist owned and operated Carmel by the Sea fine art galleries. We proudly exhibit the artists impressive large format original airbrush, oils, acrylics and encaustics. With over thirty-five years of experience in the fine art and communication arts world, we specialize in assisting with the creation and growth of important fine art collections whether they are established collections or you are a novice fine art investor with aspirations to establish a personal collection. We work thoughtfully with and advise curators and custodians of large international corporations fine art collections, as well as interior decorators and designers with the creation of the perfect fine art investment.
